多出來的門

 

 

［不是鬼故，但害怕的還是不要往下看好了］

這趟去大阪不知幹了什麼，不諳日語的我真心感到無助：想買的找不到，找得到的又忘了買（！）。

晚上到埗後，只是跟同事吃了甜品（其實我餓死）。日本果然是日本，食物精緻又美味。

好，入正題。飛前一天才得悉自己要飛日本，很不安（一直很心安理得的以為自己飛高雄）。入行後道聽旁說聽過許多傳言，都是衝著日本來的。

自己本來也是個十分多疑敏感麻煩的人。小時候曾在舊居看到不應看到的，所以十分避忌一切有關事物。對我來說，獨佔一間酒店房是做空姐最難的事。不過時間流逝，我漸漸適應，沒有感到很大的不安。

奈何有些事是怎避也避不過的。
那種驚慌的感覺又回來了。

［重申：不是鬼故］

工作前一天跟一位美國回來的阿姨見面。她是一位虔誠的教徒，很單純的。席間她認真的告訴我要小心，飛來飛去晚上會有許多鹹濕鬼。我登時嚇一跳，於是問她所指的是鬼佬或是什麼。她叫我自己要小心，不要害怕，因為越害怕它們越會欺負你，飛日本尤其多，紅色的最猛⋯⋯

於是我憂心忡忡的打開酒店房門，看到其中一張床對面多出來的一道門，上了鎖。頸背後的毛都豎起來了。唉，無論此門有什麼用途，就算有怪獸公司的毛毛彈出來，我也只會覺得無比驚嚇吧。

硬著頭皮洗滌，有一刻心臟幾乎停頓。為免夜長夢多，弱弱的打去問同事可否share room（我知我很樣衰）。然後pack好所有行李坐定定等對方洗澡後打給我。

好眼瞓地等了四十五分鐘。電話終於來了，同事驚訝我還未睡（因為在等你啊），並解釋有說夢囈和磨牙的問題，怕我share room會更害怕。

我只好說，不要緊呀，謝謝你啊，那我留在自己房好了，你也早點睡吧。

故事的結尾當然是什麼也沒發生啦。
謝謝當晚安撫過我的孩子啊。

P.S. 第二天早上台灣同事表示她住的是同類型的房，鄰房住客狂拉那道多出來的門，我懷疑那住客其實就是我。

Hardtime

「喂你有冇比人hardtime呀？」
「哦，佢出名成日hardtime人架喎。」

做空姐，怕遇上麻煩客，更怕遇上不友善的同事。
雖然大家飛一次後大多數不會再見，但登時有了不好的情緒也是人之常情吧。

並沒遇過「驚心動魄」的hardtime，最多只有在當junior的時候被無視了、又或者聽了一兩句冷言冷語。

以下是道聽旁說所聽回來的悲傷故事：

1. 甲跟partner 2-man cart （即是兩個人負責一架餐車；通常是一人負責serve飲品，另一人負責serve餐），partner無端叫甲打開她那邊的餐車門，然後無聲無色的推入餐盤。
往甲那邊的餐盤靠頓時掉下，甲尷尬不己，在眾目睽睽下，蹲在地上把四散的食物收拾好。

2. 乙在galley準備ice bucket時意外地跌了一塊冰在地上；
老總不悅，怕其他同事跣倒，於是把那冰塊塞在乙的制服內……
由於制服修身，所以冰卡在中間不上不下，乙無法把它拿出來。

3. 丙set food cart時把tray放在地上。（這是不衛生的做法。）
做完service回galley準備吃東西時，看到有三個clean tray放在地上，
阿姐說既然丙喜歡把tray放地上，那她／他就在地上挑一個她／他要的tray來吃好了。

4. 丁每做完一件事，就向阿姐報告：「我收曬tray啦」、「我收曬杯啦」；
阿姐：「但你仲有樣野未收。」
丁：「仲有咩要收啊？」
阿姐：「你把口。」

當然，道聽旁說的故事不知是傳了多少遍才傳到我的耳朵，
以訛傳訛，所以真確性存疑，不要盡信。
看完以後，不管做什麼職業，請提醒自己千萬不要做這樣的人﹗

不過，好人總比壞人多；
為避免同事MCC （懵查查）的跟不什友善的同事共事而又不自知，
同事間流傳著一份top 10名單（top什麼10，已經過百了），寫滿「出名」的同事，
好讓大家有個心理準備（或是swap走那班機）。
（曾跟其中一位top 10老總共事，覺得他只是做事認真罷了，所以到頭來……
名單也是不能盡信啊。許多事情，要得知真相，唯有自己親身經歷過才可以知道。）

【昨夜看到羅馬假期

事實是，自香港飛抵羅馬需約十三小時；

工作半天，幾乎沒命，

還是撐著身子往外跑，看看這座永恆之城。

The fact is, it indeed takes about 13 hours to fly from Hong Kong to Rome.
Having worked for long hours, I went out still to see the Eternal City.

 

遺憾的是天氣不好，走馬看花的遊覽。

 

Unfortunately, the weather was not good so I could only have a glimpse of Rome.

 

 

鬥獸場　Colosseum

12 euros的門票包 Colosseo, Palatino, Foro Romano (三選二)的參觀。

我去了Colosseo和Foro Romano (Roman Forum 羅馬廣場)

 

Tickets priced at 12 euros include entry to Colosseo, Palationo and Foro Romano (choose 2 out of 3); they can be purchased at Colosseum.

 

 

內部是這樣的。

如果想到第三層或地庫，必要參加guided tour。

If you wish to go to the third floor or the basement, you will have to join a guided tour (which costs 5 euros).

 

 

 

這是Roman Forum，也就是古羅馬的城市中心；

位置在鬥獸場的旁邊。

 

Roman Forum, the city centre in ancient Rome, is situated just next to Colosseum.

 

尤其喜歡這個地方；

竟然很好的想像到當時這兒熱鬧的場景。

 

I especially like this place because I could imagine how it was like back then. :O

 

 

下雨天。

街上有不少許多兜售雨傘的人。

他們賣的直身傘還頗漂亮的；

有興趣的話不妨多看幾間紀念品店，

看到最便宜的賣 5 euros。

碰碰運氣，你還可能會遇上一些比較特別的顏色。

不過小心，一旦表示有興趣，街上的人可能會纏著你不放（但安全的）。

 

Rainy days.

There were quite a number of people selling umbrellas on the street.

(*You had my heart, and we'll never be world apart* lol)

If interested, try to look for the umbrellas in the souvenir shops,
for people sell them at a cheaper price there (around 5 euros).

Try your luck and you may even see some with special colors!

Be careful though, the sellers may keep chasing after you (in a safe way).

 

 

許願池　Fontana di Trevi

傳說是閉上眼睛背對著許願池拋一枚銅幣，

你會再次回到羅馬……

人一如概往的多，

附近是形形色色的紀念品店。

 

So this is how the legend goes:
Close your eyes with your back facing the fountain;

throw a coin into it and you will be back someday.

 

Lots of people here and the nearby area is full of souvenir shops.

 

必飲cappuncino。

心理作用或是什麼，

總覺得這兒的特別好飲。

 Cappuncino is a must-try here.

It may sound foolish but somehow I feel that the cappuncinos here are really better.

 

 

 

短短兩天的旅程中也到了梵蒂岡，

圖為聖彼得大教堂。

 

在這個面積最小的國家，

聖彼得大教堂是必去的地方。

下次再到訪，定要看看The Creation of Adam，

也要走到教堂圓頂，俯瞰整個梵蒂岡。

 

 

Hello Vatican!

St. Peter's Basilica is definitely a must-go in this smallest coutry in the world.

And my plan is, next time when I come here again,
I must go to see The Creation of Adam;
I should go to the top of the church too to see the whole Vatican.

Plazza Navona　納沃納廣場

也是我出其地鐘愛的地方；

空曠的廣場範圍矗立著幾座噴水池，

有人悠閒的邊逛邊拍照、有人在售畫、也有人在玩音樂。

就是大家盡在做不同的事但仍然很融洽的畫面。

 

This is also a place where I fell in love with;

the fountains in this spacious area;

people taking photos, selling paintings and playing music etc.
All these came together and made a really beautiful picture.

 

對了，因為不吵，一邊也不吵呢。

 

And with so many activities undergoing at the same time, I felt silence but not a hint of noisiness.

 

文化，到處都是文化。

 

Cultures are everywhere.

 

這兩天其實還去了Mouth of Truth等著名旅遊景點，也吃了Gelato呀Pizza呀等，

不過相片不美就不放上來了。

 

In these two days, I also went to some other famous tourist spots like Mouth of Truth and ate gelato and pizzas. However, the quality of the photos were not very good so I am not going to post them there.

 

總結來說，今次探路完畢，

羅馬是絕對要再去的﹗

自己一個也不會太危險呢。
