Getting lazy once I was back to Hong Kong. But good memories should be well kept and shared so here I am again!
After spending time in Munich, we had a stopover in Nuremberg before we moved on to Füssen. It was a long day and I will make this part another post.
Let's talk about the hotels first. This time we stayed in Hotel Schlosskrone for 2 nights. It was very close to the train station (Füssen is a small place anyway). The hotel looks very Roman...I don't know why, probably because the interior design was all wooden...Oh right, it was like a sauna, haha! FYI, there was also a gym!
Anyway, staff was friendly and explained to us what were available and included. The room was unbelievably spacious! There were 2 double beds (which were comprised of 4 twin beds), a bathroom (with a shower and a tub), a toilet and a balcony! There was also a radio installed inside the toilet and it gave a relaxing feeling! I really liked it because it was set to a channel which plays English songs. I found good vibes in an unfamiliar setting. One thing that you probably should pay attention to is the door is made up of glass so it's partly transparent. Could be inconvenient for travellers who travel with friends or like me, with my dad.
After settling down, we went out, closed the door and found that the door could not be closed. I informed the receptionist and she said that she was on her own and the technician could only come in an hour. I thought it was okay but some might care about this so I better brought this up.
Another issue was the housekeeping. We didn't hang the sign but the ladies still knocked on the door, to our surprise. I just wonder if they would still come in if we happened to be not in the room? The ladies were amiable and therefore, we just rushed out of the room and let them clean it. We wanted to have a refill of water but there was a delay (like more than 2 hours?). We usually just bought water in supermarkets but that day was a public holiday so all the supermarkets were closed. In the end, we couldn't wait and resorted to buying water in the convenience store, which sold water at a price a few times more expensive. Other than that, everything was perfect!
Breakfast was good too! Not something splendid but It was satisfying! :)
